At Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, we're always looking for new ways to better serve you. We're excited to bring you an enhanced online and mobile banking experience- designed to give you more convenience, flexibility, and control wherever you are. 

On August 19, 2026, you'll gain access to our new and improved online and mobile banking platform designed to make managing your finances easier, more convenient, and more personalized than ever.


Your upgraded digital banking platform will launch August 19, 2026.

Hoku

As we prepare for this transition, we're guided by Hoku, our iwa bird navigator. The iwa is known for its exceptional wayfinding abilities, foresight, cleverness, resourcefulness, and its ability to travel great distances with confidence. Just as the iwa reads the winds and skies to find the best path forward, Hoku symbolizes the direction and support we aim to provide as you move into this new digital banking experience.

Key Transition Dates

  • August 14, 2026 - Final day to Enroll or login as a New User for online banking.
  • August 17, 2026 - Current online and mobile app banking access will be unavailable beginning at 12am (HST).
  • August 19, 2026 - Enhanced Digital Banking officially launches.
  • August 19, 2026 - Online and mobile banking services restored.
  • August 19, 2026 - Members can begin the first-time login process.

Additional Service Information

As part of our digital banking upgrade, some services may be temporarily unavailable or may have changes associated with the transition.

  • Bill Pay, Zelle®, and connectivity with Intuit products (such as Quicken and QuickBooks) will be temporarily unavailable 
  • Intuit products (such as Quicken and QuickBooks) will have specific disconnect/reconnect instructions. Additional information, including any actions that may be required, will be communicated as soon as details are confirmed.

We are currently finalizing details regarding the migration and availability of these services.

Watch for Important Communications

  • Check your email and our website regularly for important updates.
  • Occasionally review your spam or junk folder to ensure you don't miss any messages.
  • Watch for future communications regarding Bill Pay, Zelle®, Quicken®, QuickBooks®, and other digital banking services.
Plan for Your First Login

After launch, you'll need to complete a simple and secure first-time login process. We recommend setting aside a few minutes to get acquainted with the new platform and explore its enhanced features.

  • Plan Ahead for Scheduled Transfers
    • Transfers scheduled for August 17 - 18 will be temporarily delayed during the conversion and will be processed automatically when the new system launches.
  • Watch for launch communications
    • We'll send reminders and first-time login instructions as launch day approaches.
  • Complete your first-time login
    • Follow the instructions provided to securely access your new digital banking experience.
  • Download or update the mobile app
    • Update your mobile banking app or if you are new, download our app on the app store. At first login, you will be asked to allow the following:
      • Allow location services (alerts, notifications)
      • Access to your camera (mobile deposit)
      • Receive notifications (alerts, notifications)
  • Review your account settings
    • Verify all scheduled transfers and /or bill payments have been converted.
    • Account/History alerts do not carry over. Set up alerts, notifications, and personal preferences.
    • Card controls and alerts do not carry over. With card management now in online banking, you will need to add any applicable controls and alerts.
  • Customize your dashboard
    • Arrange your accounts and tools to fit your needs.

New Digital Banking Experience

We're excited to bring you an enhanced online and mobile banking experience - designed to give you more convenience, flexibility, and control wherever you are.

Our new Digital Banking platform will be available on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

As we are transitioning to our new Digital Banking experience, online and mobile banking will be unavailable from 12:00 am on Monday, August 17 until the new platform goes live on August 19.

Existing app users will simply need to update their app once the new Digital Banking platform is live.

If you are already using online or mobile banking, you will be able to log in to the new Digital Banking using your existing username and password.


If you are enrolling for the first time, you will need your Social Security number and address to get started.

Your automatic transfers will remain in place and continue without interruption on the new Digital Banking platform. Once you log in, we recommend reviewing your transfer details to confirm they are accurate.

Yes, there will be temporary service interruptions. Please check back to this page for dates.

CardSwap will not be available in the new Digital Banking. It will be replaced with Card Switch that will be accessible from our Mobile App.

The only browser requirement is that your browser must be HTML5 compatible. We recommend updating your browser to the latest version available-not just to ensure compatibility with the new Digital Banking experience, but also to ensure that your online banking is as secure as possible.

Browsers below the following requirements may not provide functionality: Internet Explorer - Version 11 and below, Firefox - Version 24 and below, Chrome - Version 30 and below, Safari - Version 6 and below.

Absolutely. Our new Digital Banking will provide you the ability to bank anytime, anywhere from any device-conveniently and securely. You can download the app to your Android or Apple device, and it will provide a consistent experience with banking from your desktop. If you're on a platform that isn't Android or Apple, you can always access online banking via your HTML5-compatible mobile browser.
