Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union is invested in local communities, and that means providing avenues for members to reach their goals. With our Coverdell ESA, your savings grow tax-free when used for qualified expenses; please consult your tax advisor for full details.

  • Contribute up to $2,000 each year until the beneficiary is 18 years old
  • Must be used by age 30 or transferred to another eligible person
  • Minimal effect on financial aid eligibility
  • Income phase-out begins at $95,000 for single filers, $190,000 for joint filers
