The Food Basket: $15,000.00
On International Credit Union Day, we sell local produce and crafts at all of our branches. From coffee, to honey, from baked goods to flowers, the proceeds from the items we sell at Market Day go right back into our Big Island community, benefiting the Food Basket.
HIUW: $20,000.00
Our credit union’s mission is give back to the local community via numerous social responsibility efforts. This year’s campaign for Hawaii Island United Way included collecting direct donations and pledges from staff. The fund will support a number of organizations that directly benefit members of our community.
